Ok, I admit I am not perfect, I am a slacker. I must try harder to keep up at this. Here are some of the notes I have taken from the tent meetings.
Don’t Block My Flow
John 4:5-10 | John 7:35,38
Songs: The Old Rugged Cross | Jesus Saves | Marching to Zion
Testimony of a Thug
John 3:5; 2 Corinth 5:17; Phillipians 5:12
Before you get baptized you must:
-
repent (Lord you died fro me. I’m sorry…)
-
Believe (Believe God with all your heart)
-
Learn from the Word
Call on Jesus for help; you can be baptized again if you have drifted and you have seen the light, or if you have learned new truth, etc.
Baptism is symbolic. It is you taking a personal stand, saying that you love the Lord. Babies cannot be baptized because they cannot be taken accounted for their actions. Baptism by sprinkling is not biblical. Baptism means to “go under”. TO be baptized is to be immersed in water. Not blood, or any other liquid. You also only need to go down once, not 5 or 7.
I’m Not Going Till I Get What I Came For
Romans 6 | 1 Corinth 15:27 | Exodus 14:12-15 | Ephesians 6:13-17
I’m very sorry, but I cannot remember what the topic of the night these scriptures came from. Read them for enjoyment….
Psalm 56:31 | Job 31 | 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 | Revelation 20:11-14 | 2 Corinth 5:10 | Daniel 7:9,10 |
2 Peter 3:7 | Rev 3:5 | Matt 3:10 | Jeremiah 2:22 | Rev 4:26 | Isaiah 65:6-7 | Rev 22:11 |
1 Timothy 5:24 |
Tomorrow I will post more, and put up links
